By paying slightly more than we normally pay, we were able to get a much better room in a quality hotel with a great staff. Front desk staff was very helpful. They educated me on use of the subway
system and surrounding area. They were great. Housekeepers were helpful.
Everyone made sure stay was comfortable. Breakfast was nice also. Bed
was comfortable and pool was great. Location was right near subway. -

Old building but hotel has been refurbished superbly. Very nice
bathroom. We were impressed with the large tv, full coffee machine,
large drinks fridge, and a microwave which we've never seen in a
hotel before. Location is excellent to attractions and cafes and
restaurants. Parking right across the street and discounted once
validated by the hotel

Susan on the front desk at night and Natasha on the front desk during
the day. I lost my iphone at a tourist site. A person at site returned
the phone to Rodeway Inn when Natasha was on duty. She accepted it and
put it away. Susan answered when my friend rang the cell phone. This
meant I was able to establish where it was and collect it. I was so very
pleased! Thank you gals! BBFs!

We liked everything about this hotel. From the clean, spacious room to the friendly courteous staff, the excellent food at the 2 restaurants, and the proximity to the subway. We attended the Army Navy game, and we intend to return to Philadelphia and will definitely stay at The DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia City Center!
