  The neighborhood is very interesting with lots of good restaurants serving nice meals at interesting prices (Stella Maris, Il brigante, MarkJoseph steakhouse, Suteishi,...). During our stay we had a quiet room on the 5th floor. The staff was always friendly and willing to help.   Great hotel and good value for money. We stayed with 4 people in a room and it was good sized. The room was very clean and the location is quite good. We had a car and therefore could easily reach all tourist locations without any problems. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety, though the breakfast area was not very big. - Location w... hva folk sier » as good - about 3 blocks from a major subway stop and with quick access to the Brooklyn Bridge so it was easy to get in and out of the city with our rental car. It was very safe and clean and parking was readily available - a HUGE plus in Manhattan!

  Hotel was outstanding. Very well decorated with lovely furniture and very comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and hotel was in a good location, out of the city centre but easily accessible to anywhere via taxi or the metro underground. Also walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants.   This was my second stay at this hotel in two weeks. In addition to what I've said in my first review - I would like to highlight how helpful and professional the staff are. I was expecting a nice, clean, modern budget freindly hotel. the rate was only 179 per night which is cheap by nyc standards no matter what part of the city you're in. It was all that I expected but when I arrived, for some reason they upgraded me.
