  We stayed for five nights and had a very relaxing time. Having a second room with ones own entrance made it much much more than just a b&b, more of a home from home. Sue was a great host and always friendly and welcoming, whether offering tea and cake in the afternoon upon our return or cooking great breakfasts in the morning. It's a great location for exploring the area. - Everything, the whole quality experience - from the very genuine welcome from Sue with tea and homemade cake served in our own sitting room, to the spacious bedroom and very comfortable bed, to the oh so tasty breakfast, the whole bed and breakfast stay was one of the most pleasant we have ever had. Welcoming, clean, comfortable, good value - a quality stay, thank you Sue, we would love to come again.

  Excellent value for money. I am a local person who booked this local innfor an anniversary meal with my wife. Staff are very freindly, Food isexcellent and rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Description onthe web is 100% accurate. Good breakfast with choice of supplementaryitems.   Our welcome from the friendly owners with cake and a cup of tea was very much appreciated after a 200 miles journey. The bedroom had superb views and was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The dining room and the lounge were up to the same standard and the Aga cooked breakfast was delicious.   Very high quality B&B with light airy and very well furnished room with every possible facility you could wish for - especially two very comfortable armchairs (better than many high cost hotels). Excellent and high quality breakfasts with local produce and a great range of options. On top of all this the hosts Wendy and Ashley were very helpfu... hva folk sier » l and considerate but did not over impose. In summary - just about the very best B&B we have every visited. Will definitely stay again when - Wendy and Ashley couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Wendy's knowledge on the local area was a great help. I have a gluten free diet and I was spoilt with a selection of gluten free goodies and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely, absolutely spotless and smelled fresh and lovely. Ashley's breakfasts were delicious and all produce was locally sourced which was wonderful. We had a lovely stay.
