  We stayed for five nights and had a very relaxing time. Having a second room with ones own entrance made it much much more than just a b&b, more of a home from home. Sue was a great host and always friendly and welcoming, whether offering tea and cake in the afternoon upon our return or cooking great breakfasts in the morning. It's a great location for exploring the area. - Everything, the whole quality experience - from the very genuine welcome from Sue with tea and homemade cake served in our own sitting room, to the spacious bedroom and very comfortable bed, to the oh so tasty breakfast, the whole bed and breakfast stay was one of the most pleasant we have ever had. Welcoming, clean, comfortable, good value - a quality stay, thank you Sue, we would love to come again.

Exceptionally friendly and attentive owners, with just the right balance giving a big 5* hotel feel to a smaller, more personal establishment. Fantastic breakfast, full of choice... hva folk sier » s and home-made goodies - try them out ! - Warm and very friendly welcome by Nick, Melinda "Jed & Rosie", the location was excellent just outside of Dunster, lovely buildings, with excellent rooms, nice homely touches, and the best breakfast I have sampled in a long time, Nick and Melinda are very knowledge about the area and the best places to visit and eat..we will certainly be paying another visit to the Townsend

  This is a hidden gem. The website entry suggests it is classy, which it is, yet it also advertises on the local radio. Our room was very spacious and well appointed. The floorboards were firm but what you might expect from such an old building. Restaurant/ bar was small and relaxed. - The room was large and well appointed including a sitting room.... hva folk sier » There were different public seating areas which were comfortable and well decorated. The food, wine, restaurant and bar were very good.
