  (You probably need to separate reviews for rooms and apartments - we had a room). Amazing value, we paid £20 for the room. Free off-road parking. - I didn´t realise a code was necessary to access the flat. Luckily, the property manager was there and helped us. He was very kind and helpful.

  Please bear in mind that this is a guest house and not a hotel so you will not be able to have an evening meal or drink. That said it is a fantastic and friendly place to stay. I got lost going there as it is down a country track ideally tucked out of the way.   My two nieces an two children stayed in one of the family apartments. We joined them for a meal and as my husband has health problems, I was happy that we were not rushed when walking to the table! Pub food, but really nice. My room was around the back, which overlooked fields, birds, cows and even a couple of deer. Breakfast was simple, but very good. I had a great nights sleep, very comfortable mattress. Good free wifi.

  Quirky room with bags of character. The couple who ran it were very pleasant. Good pub around the corner with real ales and super food. They also have accommodation, but it's better to stay at the Vines and eat at the pub. It's probably quieter and definitely cheaper. Location is country but it was what we chose. Local pub provides excellent lunch and dinner requirements.
