  1. Simple old fashioned coaching inn with "Ghostly" history. To be fair, we arrived were attending a party nearby, had B/Fast next morning and left so didn't make use of the pub etc. The staff were fine and there had been a slight mix up over booking B/Fast however the owner really went out of his way to sort us out. B/Fast was one ... hva folk sier » of the best we'd had in a long time staying at a venue. Well done. - Very friendly staff with good food. The breakfast was delicious but beware of the portion size (huge). The coaching inn is in the centre of Devizes. Ask to see the cellars as they were part of a tunnel system that ran all around Devizes in the old days. Room No. 4 is said to be one of the most haunted in England.
