Julie and her sister were so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived.
It was very handy for the N.E.C., with a bus stop just round the corner. The railway station has free parking, and is a short drive away, making it easy to get into town or to the exhibition/conference centre and airport.
We would visit again without hesitation..

We liked everything. We had a lovely 20 mins walk from Wilmcote train station to get there.. the landscapes in the area are very relaxing. Alan welcomed us and we had a very peaceful and quiet night, with avery good wifi internet connection which was helpful to check some business emails. The breakfast was very good.. and we the second day we had another nice walk to the town to see the shakespeares housesvin stratford.. overall, an amazing weekend!

The welcome was warm and friendly, and being offered a pot of tea after a long drive is wonderful. Janet could not have done more for us. I usually stay in faceless hotels but decided to opt for something smaller just for a change, and this was a genuinely great find. Breakfast was lovely, and they accommodated our early start. I wanted to stay somehwere close to the marathon strart point for the following day and couldn't have been better placed location-wise. I found the owner very polite and welcoming, and the room clean, with an amazingly comfy bed! Upon entry i was asked what i would like for breakfast, service was spot on, the food was great, and the company of other guests/fellow runners made it a very sociable and enjoyable meal.

The room we had was gorgeous - a four poster bed, nice little gas fire, a spa bath, and a good little kitchen all decorated just as you would imagine a Cotswolds cottage. No detail was forgotten - even the peony handwash matched the "Peony Suite". Had the weather not been so cold we would also have enjoyed the lovely courtyard area that came with our room. Everything was perfect: the room was big, the bed very confy, the bathroom was clean. We got a key for the house, so we could get in and out at our convenience. The RSC is just ten minutes away and it is a very quiet area, so we had a perfect night sleep. There was even a TV in the room and wifi connection. We couldn't ask more!

The owner cooked up a nice English breakfast for me each morning, drove me to the train station and did some checking via phone and internet about storage lockers at Warwick Castle. Great place.
