A comfortable hotel with a warm atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. We had booked a superior room which was nicely decorated and the bathroom was vast. Our room was at the front of the building and we were surprised how little traffic noise at night from the A.12. It made such a pleasant change from staying at a large chain hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel we were greated at reception by happy friendly staff. The quality and presentation of the hotel was outstanding. My husband and I only stayed for one night but it was a very pleaurable stay in a beautiful clean and spacious room. Breakfast was very nice and certainly set us up for a good start to the day.

I came from USA for the Service of Blessing in St. Mary's. I just loved the whole of the Ickworth estate. It was great to be able to see the work done on the church and graveyard and be able to see where my family are buried. See the monument and where monument cottage stood. I hope to come again. -

Lovely rooms, great ambience, friendly hosts. I felt very comfortable being on my own on business travel. The rooms have been lovingly individually handcrafted with oak and have great design features. Great restuarant, food prices very reasonable for quality of food, has indoor and outdoor areas and comfy couhes by a fireplace. Would recommend, and Beccles is a lovely village on the broads.
