made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had
preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large
supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of
restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and
John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so
that was great hospitality. If it were not fully booked, I'd have

Muy bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad con acceso a recorrer andando cada rincon de Edimburgo, muy limpio en todo momento con la posibilidad de conocer gente de todo el mundo con la que practicar tu Ingles. Hay que destacar la amabilidad de todo su personal que siempre tiene una sonrisa para recibirte y ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. Everything suited us and we felt very comfortable and welcome from the time we arrived. Hostess takes care of guests and very warm and friendly. Felt like home. Very clean and beautifully decorated. We were allowed to use the whole house and garden. Through the hosterss we met new friends too.

I`m an Architect, specialized in hotels, been in 29 counties and hundreds of hotels, but haven't seen such amazing design, decor and luxury of fine details in each and every corner of this unique hotel. It`s beyond imagination. Staff were more than excellent. Food was great.

Great area and scenery, very handy for Edinburgh, North Berwick and Muirfield etc. Good food and personal welcome at Longniddry Inn. Excellent for golfers...but also for tourists with even broader interests. -

Rooms and public area renovated or kept in excellent shape with new furnishings; beautifully decorated. Host Bill friendly and helpful. Good Wifi. Instant coffee powder and milk generously supplied and replenished. In easy reach of centre, with necessities shopping, pubs and eateries nearby. Sufficient public parking space, bus stop a few meters away. Not exactly cheap in overall terms, but good value for Edinburgh (sigh).
