The whole experience at The Hostel was great! the employees at the Hostel went out of their way to help you with any kind of problems and queries. You felt like you where more around friends than just an ordinary guest.

The staff is great and stayed up late to be able to check me in even though it was past their reception hours, and she had a great and fun attitude even though I had woken her up. The hostel wants to become the best hostel in Edinburgh and are open to critique which gave me the sense that I was a honored guest and I felt very welcome. A pretty good hostel.

The apartment complex itself is very secure.
The bedroom was clean, bright and well set out given the limited space.
The bathroom, whilst also small had everything you need and unlike many higher rated accommodation I've stayed in hot water was available at all times and at a constant temp.
The staff were very friendly and helpful especially to the many foreign visitors there for the festival.

Muy bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad con acceso a recorrer andando cada rincon de Edimburgo, muy limpio en todo momento con la posibilidad de conocer gente de todo el mundo con la que practicar tu Ingles. Hay que destacar la amabilidad de todo su personal que siempre tiene una sonrisa para recibirte y ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. Location! Very easy to find from the train station. Elevator available (although it's soo slow). Free WiFi was very smooth (although only in the common area). Helpful staff, suggested me alternatives of transport and calling a cab for me. Comfy bed, love the comforter. Surprisingly the room is quite sound-proof from the noise from the street. Nice bathroom with handheld shower! Free map provided.

It has a good location, in the city centre, very easy to get to the shuttle bus that goes to the airport, near the hostel there are some nice bars with live music. You live in the room alone and share only shower, toilet and kitchen. -

such a clean, well appointed hostel, fresh and modern with quality fittings. Really ipressed with the bathroom facilities in the dorm. Nice cafe on ground floor. Also easy to find and not too far from Princes St/bus/train stations. Plus there was no rowdiness from other guests. I highly rate this hostel

It was a very small and cosy all girls hostel . There are only about 18 beds and that made it very easy for people to meet each other. Kylie, the owner , is a very experienced backpacker and obviously knows exactly what it takes to make a perfect little hostel. Brand new wooden bunks. clean bathrooms. little nightlights. free shampoos. hair dryers.

I loved this hostel! Kylie is a such a great host which gives the whole place a really nice and friendly feel to it. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm which was very comfortable with a great bed so it was easy to get a good nights sleep there! The smell of the home made bread cooking in the morning is also a great treat!
