  We have been travelers for many years both as civilian and as Naval personnel and Glencoe House is by far the best place we have stayed! The staff are very helpful and friendly, the locations is spectacular. Near hiking, and walking paths. Near boating facilitates, and a great deal of Scottish History! The rooms are not your tipical B & B,... hva folk sier » you actually get a suite, with a large sitting area, the breakfast is served in your sitting area with a breakfast nook. The lights are Chandilars i - Wonderful location overlooking Loch Leven and the Pap of GlenCoe. Short walk to the GlenCoe Lochan which is beautiful. Easy access to GlenCoe, Fort William, Oban areas. Our suite of rooms (sitting room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom) was very tastefully decorated and furnished, and the owners have taken great care in restoring this beautiful house. Lovely breakfast in private dining room. Owners and staff could not have been more helpful!

  It was dog friendly, our apartment (no. 2) was very clean and modern with all facilities, very close to town centre & 5 minute drive to Ben Nevis (there is a footpath to there next door but bit of a walk!!!). Great stay had by all!!! - Very comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. No complaints except as below. Easy walk into the town. Great restaurant 1 min away (Browns) Make sure you do the Jacobite train. Book early or queue for tickets off the train. Well worth either. We has apartment 5. Can only comment on that one but we would request it again if we ever go back to that area.

  We've had a fantastic time. We organised Tesco to deliver our shopping on the first night and stayed in and cooked most nights after long days skiing on Cairngorm. (Which is an easy 15 min drive away). The apartment was warm and cosy but very spacious. The 2 main bedrooms have large wardrobes for all your things and one has an ensure too. The... hva folk sier » 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds in it. Comfortably sleeps 6 + a baby. The utility room with washing machine is very handy after a day doing the outd - I also had a young child and unable to comment on the question regarding staff. This was due to the fact booked on-line. Arrival and Departure was self administered via key-code to property so no requirement for staff. Loved the property, it's location and ease of booking and arrival and departure procedure - seamless. Looking forward to return stay.
