This was an amazing apartment right on the river across from the main
tourist area. The pictures do not show how new and luxurious the
apartment was. It is three bedroom two bath with a full kitchen, ding
area, living room, laundry room, entry hall, huge back patio, full
washer and dryer, and parking area. You don't need to bring any
laundry detergent, milk, etc. Everything is provided. I didn't want
to leave. We will definitely come back! The management met us at the
door and showed us around

The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

Wonderful location overlooking Loch Leven and the Pap of GlenCoe. Short walk to the GlenCoe Lochan which is beautiful. Easy access to GlenCoe, Fort William, Oban areas. Make sure you do the Jacobite train. Book early or queue for tickets off the train. Well worth either.

Very enjoyable stay in Aviemore and would thoroughly recommend Silverglades for your base. A very convenient location and all facilities in the apartment were to a high standard. Kitchen particularly well equipped and having two bathrooms was most useful. Great welcome at reception too. -
