  Assistance given by staff at the reception desk. - Room was clean, warm and comfortable with everything we required. The full english breakfast was lovely and well worth the money. Most of the staff were very polite and friendly. Would definately stop there again.

  I booked into this hotel due to its proximity to the Hammersmith Apollo (went to see Josh Widdicombe - great stand-up comedian, fantastic gig!) It's a brilliant, cool hotel for its modest cost, comfortable, clean, with good decor - and the staff are welcoming and friendly! (Opposite the tube station is a very good p - The staff are incredibly friendly, while being laid back. The hotel is an old Georgian townhouse on a lovely street and within a 10 minute walk of shepherds bush empire. There are a small row of shops over the road which is handy, and the grove restaurant opposite is lovely too and was offering a discount to London Grove guests while we were there! The breakfast was good - cereal, yoghurt, fried/scrambled eggs on toast and tea/coffee.the lady who makes the breakfast is so lovely and immediately

  The quirkiness; if you don't like quirky then don't stay here! The staff were young, helpful and keen to make our stay a pleasant one. We chose a room without a window which was fine for 1 night.   Very convenient location for Canary Wharf and 02 arena. Walk from the hotel and catch the DLR to Canary Wharf from East India (few mins walk, literally - and not main roads to cross), or take a 2 minute walk across a set of Traffic Lights to Blackwall DLR.   I had reservations as I only stay in 4/5 stars but for location I choose this hotel for Valentines day as it was walking distance to Wembley Stadium and I did not want to stay some where and I was not happy.From checking in to checking out I was very happy. Also, it is a quiet neighbourhood, so you can get enough sleep to gain energy to walk thru busy streets of London and the nearness of the tubes, local pubs, bus stations and supermarkets is really great (about a 5min walk to both stations).   The rooms of hotel are all new and very nice , I asked for iron and hair dry which was no problem staff are understanding it's a very good safe hotel if you are using st George's ! The resterant beside was good as well .
