  I didn't actually stay at the hotel because I didn't check the location beforehand! My mistake but the manger John was so polite and professional about our cancelation that I would definatly make it my business to go there understanding and great staff like that are so hard to come by these days as I stay in hotels quite a lot! It's an English-style bed and breakfast located in a totally quiet and peaceful neighborhood next to the sea. Some rooms -and ours too- have the bathroom in common, but it's so clean that I didn't mind: I felt completely at home. The owner is really kind and give us all the informations we needed. Moreover, you away from the hustle of the city, but you can reach city center by train in only 20 minutes.

  Found the staff very welcoming and genuine. The room was more than accommodating for my night's stay (as I ran the half-marathon) the next day. I found the shower simply amazing. My overall experience was fantastic and found the place less of a 'hostel' but more of a luxurious/en-suite/student accom/hotel type. - Clean. Functional. Within walkin... hva folk sier » g distance from the Liverpool city centre. Free self-service laundry facilities. The shower was capable of significantly higher water pressure than usual. The free Internet access in the room was wired. It suited my purposes well, but YMMV.

  Had a great stay, perfect location between the city and Anfield and excellent value for money. Kylie one of the staff there even dropped us to town on one of the nights!
