Lovely warm welcome from Danny, peaceful and relaxing feel of the hotel, smelt nice, immaculate and clean with lovely decor, pretty room with nice en-suite (fluffy towels!) comfy bed and clean crisp bed linen. Good room facilities, tea/coffee, ironing equipment and hairdryer, tv and iPod docking station. Very quiet so good sleep had! N

The owners were extremely welcoming and are happy to help you find your
way around if you haven't visited Blackpool before.
The hotel is situated very close to the railway station and town centre making it ideal for rail users.
Decor is of a high standard and to a modern taste. There's none of your usual stereotypical Blackpool chintz here thank goodness.

The hotel vienna is currently going through a £100,000 reburbishment but you would never have known it as the hotel is well run and clean, the staff are very friendly and always had a smile on their faces, there was entertainment on in the evenings but unfortunately we had prebooked tickets to see other shows but heard it was a great night. The breakfast we received each morning was freshly cooked by the owner and lovely (a great way to get you started for your day out in blackpool). Definately

We were very happy with the staff and with our stay, the staff were lovely and friendly, also great company. They were very helpful and very understandable. They made sure we were having a good time and made sure we were comfortable, they sort out any problems straight away which we also liked. -

The couple who run St James' are lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and well equipped.Breakfast was well cooked with a choice of kippers as well as full English , good selection of cereal and plenty of toast. The owners have made a great effort in the 4 years they have had the hotel to improve the facilities and create a lovely very clean small hotel, which is in a great location on the promenade and very close to shops and resort centre, without being so close that there is any noise disturbance. The hotel also has a lift.
