Very rare would I give top marks for anything, but the hotel and the staff were all marvelous. It's more a city pub with rooms.
Handy for shopping, theatres and eating out.
Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

I stayed here for one night when I went to Leeds to explore the city.
It's in a great location! Takes just a few minutes to walk to the
city centre and the main bus station. Its a nice hotel and a great value
for money. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and very
comfortable, very good air conditioning which is handy in the winter
cold, and there is a good selection of tv channels. The showers are
fantastic. Overall just a great hotel, highly recommended.

The welcome was great and the receptionist was very helpful, giving us a map, showing directions and telling us about 'extras', such as the Christmas market. A family hotel whose staff were amazingly helpful and attentive - even swapping us to a ground-floor room (due to a broken ankle) without needing to be asked and despite its being a family room rather than the twin we had booked! Delicious breakfast, with generous variety (both continental and cooked). Superb location for the universities - just across the road. Right on bus route for shopping or bus/coach/train stations. Yet a feeling of being in the country - "at home" in the country. Thank

This was a really great place to stay during some unusually cold and snowy weather in Leeds. Clean, comfortable and warm, the hotel provided an excellent breakfast and has a cozy lounge to sip a drink in. - We Were made very welcome, it was nice and clean and the room had easy chairs to sit is which is not always available
