This hotel has no frills but provides excellent basic accommodation in a
modern, clean, well designed building. Staff were extremely pleasant and
the hotel provides really good value for money. It's in a good
location, on the edge of the city centre but within easy walking
distance of everything in central Leeds. It's particularly
convenient for the Megabus pick-up point and the National Express coach
station, both of which are nearby, but the railway station is probably
about 10-15 minutes wal. alle vurderinger »
I stayed here for one night when I went to Leeds to explore the city.
It's in a great location! Takes just a few minutes to walk to the
city centre and the main bus station. Its a nice hotel and a great value
for money. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and very
comfortable, very good air conditioning which is handy in the winter
cold, and there is a good selection of tv channels. The showers are
fantastic. Overall just a great hotel, highly recommended.
Centre of City, helpful staff directing us to good convenient and cheap
car parking and offering to download information about getting to
destination next day. Food & drink available from vending machine
24/7 with microwave to heat purchases if required. Basic hotel which
did what it said on the box- shower particularly good far better than in
more expensive hotels I am have visited.
Much closer to city centre than expected and we had a great city view of the Leeds-eye which was really good. Excellent staff, clean and well set-out room and a good continental breakfast made a budget stay something a bit extra. Good hot shower and nice lighting in bedroom. Pub/bar next door looked lively although we didn't have chance to go in. Excellent bargain city break.
This hotel gets some bad reviews.. we stayed 1 night in a triple room to do some xmas shopping... ok room small with no extras (except TV) but it was clean and the staff were helpful, extra pillows and towels on request - its cheap and in a good location to walk to the city centre. If you want to pay double for the luxury of a kettle in your room - go ahead...!.
The hotel was very close to the centre of Leeds. I had a lovely room from my window. Furthermore, the room was very clean and it offer all facilities that I needed for a night.
The staff at the reception, as well as the cleaning staff, was very friendly. I had the possibility to leave my luggage for few hours in the hotel after the check out.
the staff were excellent extremely helpful...way past the call of dutyso to speak...ive stayed there before as an etap hotel..and if im comparing now to then sorry no comparison...as im definetly only staying there when im in Leeds buisness or pleasure everytime .thanku to stafffor making my bad day at work into an awsome evening xxxx.
Comfortable bed, clean room, quiet room at back of hotel, free wi-fi connection, well located for the place where I was working. Very inexpensive and very good value for money. Breakfast looked rather disappointing at first but was actually very adequate and good value for money.
For the money this was a great hotel in a good location, there was no parking but when I called to ask where was convenient to park the staff were helpful, gave me several options and advised that I could get a discount at the main car park, she even gave me the post code.
It's a perfectly functional budget hotel, well located for the centre of Leeds. Clean and tidy with friendly staff. For the money don't expect the Ritz, but the comfort and convenience provided do make it excellent value for money. I've already booked it again.
I think this Hotel is excellent value for money; it is basic with wooden floors and a simple design but has everything you need.It was immaculate and had a TV. Couldn't get a better location if visiting Leeds City Center and has a nice view if facing the Town.
A short one night stay with my son for a concert and this hotel did just the job. It was very reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, rooms had just what was needed and staff were welcoming and helpful.
I would recommend to others for their short stays.
Not very near to the center but close to the coach station. In any case,
Leeds isn't a big city, so the center is more or less 15 min on
foot. Good value for money, big and comfortable bed, nice view from my
window. Polite staff.
You get what you pay for and as a very cheap budget hotel this was perfect for a place to stay after a day of shopping and a night out. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Noise levels were managed very well too.
The hotel is excellent value for money, it is clean, comfortable and safe, and is easy walking distance from Leeds city centre. My room on the 8th floor gave an excellent view over the city.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel was also surprisingly quiet so we managed a good nights sleep. Also the early check in and late check out meant we weren't lugging bags about.
The Staff were friendly, good positive customer service and the rooms
were very nice and well kept good quality bedrooms and in a city centre
accessible location, good value for money.
the Ibis Budget, Leeds is well situated, just a 10 minute walk from Briggate and even less to the Markets.
My room was clean, and I wasn't disturbed by other guests.
Good value !.
The prices was very cheap, the cleanliness of the rooms, the location was brilliant not to far away from pubs/clubs, overall great experience will be there again shortly.
Modern feel of the rooms
Space in the rooms
Facilities e.g. food and drink to buy in the reception
Location to the Royal Armouries
Really well sound proofed from outside.
For the price the rooms were great as was the location. You can get the bus straight from the airport to the bus station in Leeds which is two minutes from the hotel.
The room far exceeded my expectations for the budget price tag. The linen is fresh and crisp, the bed comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was amazing.
The room is very clean and comfortable. Near many attractions, such as royal armories, leeds minster. Around 10 mins walk to the railway station and city centre.
The helpful chap on reception. The relative lack of noise given that the hotel is both by a road junction and was busy.
The availability of drinks/breakfast.
The cleanliness and basic but all we needed facilities. Best shower ever in any budget hotel we have stayed in. Again best value for money we have ever had.
This hotel represents excellent value for money. Well located for Leeds city centre and coach station. Its spartan but well designed and everything works.
The service i recieved was excellent, staff were lovely and polite. It is located not far from the town centre and is a great value for money.
design of the hotel and rooms especially the light fixtures give lots of light and the bed is comfortable and everything is new and clean!!!.
Not far to walk into city centre. Easy to check in and out. Cheap and
cheerful. Basic but fine for short stays. Nice breakfast.
Good value room. Stayed with my sisters for one night. The room was clean and bright, better than I had expected for the price.
I liked the cleanliness and location, in fact if it wasn't for the
lack of parking...it was great value for money all round.
the value for money is amazing...the location really good and even tho it's very low cost but the service are excellent...
Good size, clean room in a convenient location in Leeds. Staff was very friendly and breakfast (additional cost) was good.
Staff were helpful and helped to arrange late night food for me and children at takeaway which was good value for money.
Right beside where the mega bus drops off in Leeds. So very handy for dropping off luggage before hitting the shops.
Leeds city center is a bit chaotic thus reaching the hotel was a bit problematic. Hotel offers excellent prices.
Very clean, good sized room. Hotel near to the City Centre.
Excellent price.
Breakfast available if required.
Outstanding value for money! The staff were friendly, the room was very nice and the location was brilliant!.
Excellent location and the price is unbeatable. Rooms are better than some 3* hotels I have seen in Leeds.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Food and drink available 24/7. Free taxi phone service. 24 hr reception.
Close to all the things you want to do. Cheap and clean. Friendly helpful staff. Very quiet for sleeping.
Remember its cheap for a reason - the Hilton its not - but excellent shower slept great and check in fine.
Excellent value for money, 24 hour reception, easy to book online, very nice breakfast, comfortable bed.
Location great very close to centre. Able to leave luggage was very important. All staff very friendly.
Good continental breakfast for only 5 pounds a day
10 minutes walk to the train station
Very clean.
Very clean room and hotel. The staff were excellent . Good location for my needs, will stay again.
Ideal location, very close to the bus station, royal armories museum.
Clean rooms, helpful staff.
The reception staff went out of their way to help me get a quiet room. I was very grateful.
Alot closer to Leeds city centre than first thought, its only 5 min walk to corn exchange.
The room was clean and had all the basics. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The check-in could have been smoother, not what I needed after a 12 hour
journey. Also I needed to get a new key card every time I went out,
always when I came back the key card would not work.
I know it is a budget hotel, but I missed being able to have a cup of
tea/coffee in the room first thing in the morning! Also obviously an
"after clubbing" venue, and the shouting to friends and
knocking on each other doors up and down the corridor at 4 in the
morning didn't thrill me ! Not under the management's control
but irritating.
Car park a bit of a walk in the snow! Closer the next day when we knew where we were going, but not ideal for less mobile guests who couldn't walk that distance to car.
sockets not near the mirror-you will need good eyesight to do hair from across the room :-).
possible no beverage facility in your room ...but few trips down to reception made me converse more haha xx.
Rather basic, cheerless room. No tea / coffee making facilities in room.
Nothing - for the money its never going to be the pinnacle of luxury, but it doesn't feel like slumming it either.
Water smelled slightly of chlorine but wasn't an issue. No kettle and no free WiFi; but still think it's excellent value for money.
Very small bathroom, no Wi-Fi in the rooms. You have to go to the
reception hall with your device. Wi-Fi is very expensive: 3 £
/ hour.
As there were 3 of us in one room, we had a bunk above our bed, this wasn't a problem, what was was that when we arrived the sheet was filthy, after speaking with reception we found that they don't actually clean these beds as they don't allow their staff up there!!! I understand health and safety but they really shouldn't have them if they are too dangerous for their own staff, yet they are happy to let us get up there!.
What's to dislike?.
No onsite parking which meant parking in a nearby car park for £5 would
have been nice to have had an onside parking area.
If im going to be picky, the toilet was a little small, and the bunk bed mattress was a little tough, but as i didnt use either not a problem to myself.
Nothing really.
There were a lot of very young people drinking all over the hotel, while this didn't bother me it might put some people off. So if you are looking for a quiet hotel this isn't it.
The reception / cafe area seemed full of residents who live there rather than hotel guests. As a result you feel like you are running the regular smokers gauntlet as you enter reception or interrupting the laptop job searching in the cafe which feels like a hostel. Fortunately the rooms don't have the hostel feel and you can easily escape from it.
The shower place is a little bit too small. NO free wifi in the hotel and no wifi connection in the room.
No tea/coffee making facility.
Had to take our our kettle.
Sandwiches overpriced. But thats all. They tend to be overpriced everywhere.
Nothing.
I didn't find the ramp for my heavy suit case until a day later and had to haul my suit cases over several steps. They should put a sign.
Corridors had a lot of rubbish left- pizza boxes etc, could have
been picked up but then the guests should not have put them there in
first place.
Even though the booking was for 3 people we had to ask for the bedding for the single bunk.
I thought the buffet breakfast was a bit expensive for what was on offer
so we left the hotel taking a less than 5 minute walk to have a full
english breakfast with lattes for £4.95!!!.
nothing...
Nothing.
parking was a bit of a nightmare and quite a long walk with bags on my own with two young children. This would probably put me off booking again. Would go for something slightly more expensive with easier parking.
There must be at least a soap in rooms!.
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
It might sound petty, but only having 2 wall sockets in a room when travelling as a pair can be quite troublesome. Trying to charge phones, laptops and other things all off one socket can be a little difficult!.
The lift was slow so didn't end up using it at all it didnt seem to respond when we swiped our card.
Top bunk bed isn't pre-made, although quilt cover is on, the bottom sheet isnt. Quite a hard task but proved to be a laugh.
Laminate flooring - ok its cheap and easy to clean but a bit of carpet please.
Finger prints on the window in my room. Blank walls, it would have been nice to have some paintings or photographs displayed in a few places.
the 3rd bed in one of our rooms was a bunk over the beds - a bit of a struggle as we are 3 ladies in our 60's.
No wardrobe.
Room did not have a duvet. a bit noisy at times.
There were no switch for light in the shower. The hotel seems to be used mostly by young guys coming to town to party. Had extremely noisy neighbors, shouting throughout the night and listening to loud music, making it hard to fall asleep.
No parking so had to use city council car park. £10 23 hours.
The constant roar of traffic.
