  The location is great...right by the sea front and with easy access to the best areas of Brighton's dining and shopping. The old building used to be wine merchants and has a beautiful staircase and reception area. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped...including the feather pillows that we had requested. The bar staf - Everything about the stay was excellent, from the moment we dropped our bags off (earlier than check-in) to actually being shown the room (bed was so comfortable), to the bar and bistro. Found all staff excellent, very friendly and very helpful (recently back from Las Vegas where I stayed in a supposed luxury hotel! everything was the complete opposite too the Hotel du Vin). Both of us wished we had booked that extra day!

  My wife and I stayed for two nights and for dining in the restaurant for one night we were given a free upgrade to a large double room with sea view - which was magnificent. The hotel food was superb as was the service from checking in to the express check-out. Use of the car park was free which was also an added bonus. We chose this hotel because it had parking facilities and for its brilliant location. We were delighted with our choice in every respect. The restaurant was also excellent if rather expensive.

  The courtesy & friendliness of this B&B is 5 Star. On arrival we were greeted outside & shown where to park. The breakfast was tailored to you, perfectly cooked & the coffee was delicious. The proprietors Dan & Mardi su - The service and attention to customers was outstanding. As soon as our booking was made we received a welcoming email with a useful map attached - nice detail. Parking in the area is a problem and we were met at the door, helped with our luggage and guided to a parking space.Throughout our stay the owner, Dan, was always available offering helpful suggestions on where to dine in the town and attending our requests. Inside very comfortable bed, room had tea/coffee-making kettle , always a plus .
