Dave the hotel owner is a superb host. He couldn't do enough for his
guests. Hotel is work in progress but so far impressive. Even dropped us
off at the railway station to save us getting a taxi when we left.
Breakfast was plentiful and cooked well. Hotel is in an ideal situation
if you don't want to pay Liverpool city prices. Seacombe ferry
terminal right on the doorstep and what could be better than the trip
across the river? Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay
again when we n. alle vurderinger »
We got lost and when we rang the hotel Hayley went on google maps and very calmly directed us straight there, when we parked and came in she had the kettle on for a very welcome cuppa! While there was no food available a selection of take away menus where offered and cutlery, plates and napkins provided. Breakfast served by Dave the next morning and was delicous. I've never stayed anywhere were the owners are so friendly, welcoming and helpfull. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very co.
An extremely friendly welcome, and a very comfortable bedroom. A hearty breakfast and we would definitely stay again. The location was very convenient for the Seacombe Ferry across the Mersey. Free Wi Fi and private parking all helped. The owner and staff were very helpful suggesting we eat out in New Brighton, which was great and conveniently only a couple of miles away.
Individuality of service - very friendly and enthusiastic. This is not
your average chain-type budget hotel accommodation. It is owned by a
young man who is learning about the industry and refurbishing a run down
building as he can. Rooms are spacious and overlook a garden - in
Seacombe! Also loved being able to walk to seacombe Ferry and catch
aboat within five minutes.
Dave and Haley - very welcoming, friendly, obliging, funny and cooking skills at breakfast.. Room and bedding was very clean. Was made to feel that we had know them all our lives, even got to join in with their family party! Dave is doing his very best to keep his prices down so he is coping well with minimal staff. We will be back Dave, Thanks so much!.
More than impressed with the view, from my room (16) across the Mersey, of the Liver Building, both daytime & evening, fantastic. David was very helpful & accommodating, excellent breakfast. For the age of the building, just don't expect 'The Ritz'. great VFM, if I'm working up that way again I will definately rebook.
There was a problem with the room booking that was sorted straight away, Dave then made us tea. The view across the Mersey from the room was fantastic.Staying at Dave and Hayley's B&B was like staying with family. They were so welcoming and caring. We would stay there again.
Dave was fantastic and make us feel comfortable he just get on with us as we are deaf but Dave was very patience and trying understand us very well I have book again for dec 6th as fantastic person and room was so lovely and warm he cook excellent breakfast well done Dave.
Staff were brilliant we arrived later than usualy so when we called to tell them they were brilliant. So welcoming and helpful, the room was really clean and tidy, and the bed was really comfortable.
In the morning the breakfast was cooked to perfection.
This hotel was such a lovely place to stay. I'm very happy with the location and the owners were so friendly!
Rooms are very clean and very comfy!!
Very happy with my stay at the liver view and can't wait to book with them again x.
The location. The excellent use of an old converted building. The
friendliness of the staff and the owner. The quality of the
breakfast and of the facilities. Excellent value for money. Good
easy, free parking.
The staff were outstanding. The breakfast was excellent. The beds were the best ones I have ever slept in whilst travelling. Very friendly and welcoming hotel. Would definatately recommend a stay there.
The manager was great, when we arrived we asked him to give us directions to the train station and he said i will do better than that i will take you. Very friendly and helpful.
We only had a short stay, but were impressed by the owners friendly and helpful attitude, and his ability to remain calm and controlled in a crisis situation. Well done.

Owners very friendly and accomadating spot on .

Easy access to Wirral and Liverpool areas.
Positive friendly staff getting established in new business venture. Also comfortable bed, hot shower, warm room. Lovely to have NO piped music in dining room.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Great place for Liverpool FC fans, before/after game at Anfield.
Staff excellent.
Friendly helpful welcome.
From our point of view nothing to dislike.
nothing.
. Room layout not good, but on chatting to Dave we know he is gradually sorting this out. No lift..
Nothing.
Nothing!.
It "feels" not quite finished. The en-suite door frame was
un-painted raw wood. There was no towel rail, and no tooth mug, nor
anywhere to put a tooth mug. There was a TV.in the bedroom, but it
hadn't been set up. I in fact set it up and tuned it in. Not
major complaints, but putting these things right would lift it to
the A.1 level.
Nothing to complain about.
In our group we did book a single en_suite, but we did not have an en_suite.
was with my husband and my mother for a funeral mum is 77 yrs old and found the two flights of stays hard work and in general she is very fit for her age, so the lift needs to be working for those who cannot manage the stairs.
The conservatory where you have breakfast would be brighter and more spacious without the blinds. I prefer to use the stairs but for people with limited mobility, it would be good to get the lift operational.
It was all fine.
Room was small, but very adequate.
no complaints.
All good!.
Lack of lift for disabled partner.
Area .
Nothing in particular ..except the shower cubicle was so tiny that one keeps knocking the temp control .. I got scalded twice... So gotta watch out while you are in the shower.
Nothing.
Having to wait outside well after opening time in icy wind - almost thought we'd have to go elsewhere TV was awkward to adjust.
single room was very small.
Lift broken, we were top floor, no Internet in room, when you stated
they was in the booking,to expensive to stay, we paid £75 a night and
were told that it was only £50 a night to book though them.
Was put in bedroom at top of building next to fire escape As I was on my
own didn't feel totally secure Burglar alarms going off during night
in neighbourhood On going down to breakfast next morning at 9am there
was nobody to be seen so had no breakfast Two men were ringing door bell
but didn't let them in as there was no one else there Left message
to say I was moving on with key to bedroom Had booked for two nights but
not happy about staying in such a place with no staff about.
