The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very clean. The breakfast was well cooked and had a good variety of choices and was served in a pleasant Dining room. The accommodation had ample off-street parking and was close to all amenities in a quiet location. Rear garden was pleasant to sit in. Hosts provided complementary chilled water and beer.

They also provided extras such as bottled water, tea, coffee and beers and other little touches which made our stay there very enjoyable.

everyone was very helpful, my mother who was with us is 89 and they could not have done more for her. the food at breakfast was exceedingly good.We had a very comfortable stay with hosts who could not have been more helpful.
George & Jackie made us most welcome. We were given tea and Jackie's wonderful home made scones on arrival. George recommended restaurants and booked them for us. All 3 were excellent. Wonderful host and hostess.

The modern rooms and friendly staff.
Although our bed was large and very comfortable, the room (No 2) was too small and had no chairs to sit on. Also, although the wet room was attractive to look at, it was not very practicable. If you had the shower on normal pressure, water tended to flood into the main part of the en-suite. Therefore it was difficult to keep the en-suite floor dry to prevent water being carried on your feet onto the fitted bedroom carpet.

Early (for me at least) breakfast - ended at 9:15 on weekends. I stay up late and like to rise late. It would be nice if breakfast lasted until 10:00.
We had lovely towels but not enough room to hang them to dry. One bed had no bedside table which made tea in bed awkward in the morning!.
Would have raited facilities as excellent but for the shower which was on the small side. Would suggest a shower curtain that is weighted to stop it clinging to the body.
Not keen on "wet room as shower produced lots of water on floor and soon led to minor "flooding" even at low rate of shower. Only a minor inconvenience though.
