  Faultless service. Excellent Food. Beautifully decorated and clean. Many luxurious extras. Flat screen TV. Wonderful Coffee Machine. Complimentary muffins, biscuits, toiletries. - Friendly, efficient reception. Attentive staff in restaurant and bar. A very good bedroom. Good supply of drink-making items and biscuits in room. Good value evening meal... hva folk sier » , with good choice of menu. Tables in both restaurant and breakfast area very well presented. Hotel is very handy for the railway station. It suited my own purposes very well.

  very good service and excelllent food! - Lovely location with great sea views. Short walk into Southend itself or longer sea front walk to the very pretty Leigh on Sea. Lots of old pubs with great character here and the old famous "cockle sheds" for fresh sea food. Friendly helpful and informative staff. Brilliant buffet breakfast- lots of choice ... hva folk sier » and food good quality and kept piping hot. Room lovely, quite elegant and very comfortable. Big ensuite- well equipped and lovely deep bath. - our room was spacious, clean and very comforable and had a wonderful view. the staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was perfect.

  Very helpful reception staff including the duty manager Thomaz I think? Helped us to our room as we had to carry our sleeping child. Was very helpful on the phone and friendly and nothing was too much trouble!! Also lady in the morning on the reception was helpful and lady at breakfast helpful and friendly towards us and our son. And best omelette... hva folk sier » ever eaten!!! - Excellent staff, I was alone with my 2 yr old boy and felt very looked after. The staff were extremely helpful and always willing to give little man a smile and a little chat. Will def stay again. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay. And excellent black out curtains little man slept in until 8:30 I haven't had a lie in like that for a long long time!! : )

  The hotel was better than expected. Nice little touches in the room such as the mini fridge and the mini basket of sweet and crisps which we didnt use on this occassion but it was nice to know it was there as an option. Breakfast the next morning was lovely. Free Car Parking was a massive bonus. Good to see the hotel resturant was packed in the ev... hva folk sier » ening. The hotel is a fair walk from the Cliffs Pavillion but we had a lovely stroll along the front after our show had finished which took us about 4 - From the minute we walked in we were struck by the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was great, nice sea view and we even had a balcony. Food excellent, especially the recommended snack for lunch - fish and chip sandwich (recommended by the hotel MD) - which was superbly presented and with a glass of wine went down exceedingly well. Dinner was excellent with great desserts, afternoon tea will have to wait for our return visit. But breakfast was the best, hom
