  The hotel is superbly managed, and all the staff are excellently trained. This was my second stay here, and once again I greatly enjoyed my visit. The house-keeping is of a very high standard, and I found nothing out of place in my room. I ate Dinner in the 1935 Rooftop Restaurant on both evenings of my stay; the first evening with guests, The food is of a high standar - We stayed at holiday inn in southend since our flight to Amsterdam was taking off from southend airport. So we ended up staying there for two nights. It was absolutely the right decision. The hotel itself was spotless. It was really clean and well maintained. Best hotel for the price. southend is a nice town for nightlife and clubs. Not so much during the days. Hotel is right next to the airport and the train station that takes u to and back from London.   Excellent decor, very clean and comfortable, very pleasant and helpful staff - the cleaner helped me downstairs with heavy bags. some washing up liquid, teabags and coffee provided - a nice touch. - Everything was perfect!
