  Nikki and Steve were amazing hosts --- they made us feel right at home! The location is perfect, right in the middle of Harpenden and close to anything you could possibly want. We even walked from the train station. Couldn't have asked for anything more!! - Immediate attention by friendly staff on arrival, We were part of a Christmas party booking staying overnight. Although busy our meals were all served together and the food was hot and extremely well presented. Our room was wonderful with everything we needed. My husband especially enjoyed the full english breakfast to next morning. Will definitely return and hopefully stay for longer to enjoy the town.

It worked out very well and the hotel staff were extremely helpful, friendly, pleasant and patient with us. You will be pushed to find a flat floor upstairs as the oak beams have bowed with time. Very nice staff and helpful, always most busy. Nice selection of meals, cooked correctly and serviced well.
