  I was really impressed by the hotel. Having read reviews for lots of London hotels before booking I was really hoping it lived up to the pictures and it really did. Great accommodation, very modern interior. Although we didn't use it, it had a very comfortable bar area. On the night, as we arrived late we got a taxi (which the hotel sorted - I've just returned from a two night stay at Aloft London Excel where I had a great time. Although this hotel is not in the centre of London, the DLR line (a metro line on the surface) station Prince Regent has direct access to the hotel and the station of Tower Gateway, in the centre of London, is within a trip of 15 minutes.   I arrived at the hotel and promptly met by a member of staff offering to take my bags, check-in was really quick and easy, also taking the time out to explain how use the door card in the lift etc, reception arranged for a taxi when I asked to my destination and also arranged for the taxi to be waiting for me when I had finished later on in the eve... hva folk sier » ning, check out was good, overall the experience... - The staff were very friendly, there was a problem with the hotels computer system when we arrived, the hotel manager apoligised for this and took us through to the bar and gave my wife and myself a free drink while we waited for the problem to be fixed, this only took approx 10 mins, he then booked us in and gave us a free update to a suite for the inconvienance.

  They arranged a taxi to their other apartment which is a few miles away and I got a call from their reservation manager(the day after in the weekday) and she apologized for the inconvenience caused she offered me to change my stay to canary wharf area and she waived 50% of total amount sent some fruits to my room and also gave special discount for... hva folk sier » my future stays.
