A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

The hotel is beautifully designed, very class with baroque-style furnishings which I love. The helpful and friendly staff especially Ms Begum Girgin is amazing who emailed us a welcome letter prior to our arrival and assisted us in anything we needed at the hotel and our city trips. Everyone else made us welcomed in the hotel, as the way they envision to impress their guests. This is a fantastic hotel if you want to stay in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The hotel is a few minutes walk to all the sights and in a quiet street. The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the view on the terrace is great. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning staff are meticulous! Ask for a room with a water view if you can!

The apartment was so great. I booked the big apartment which can contain around 8 people.It was consist of two levels.
Sam is the manager of this property and he was very helpful and friendly.
The location was not to far from Taksim squire. it takes from you around 10-15 min by walk.
I will absolutely come back to this hotel apartment.

Everything. Hotel is amazing and brand new. Definitely it is firm 5 star hotel. I don't know what to name first design, comfort, location or quality of service everything is excellent.
