I like the hotel in general, the staff were friendly and they tried to
help us regarding to internet issues,we received special treatment ,the
receptionist changed the room from floor two to seven with a nice view
and also we received a gift (bowl fruits and drinks . the most
interesting thing is unlikely of other hotels in Istanbul no one ask us

DIVAN Istanbul is perfectly central, 3 minutes walk to Istiklal Caddesi and a 8 minute walk to the Dolmabahçe Palace and Bosphorus. While a hotel in an ideal location is not necessarily a good hotel, this hotel is close to ideal as it is luxurious, affordable with friendly and helpful staff. Made our stay in Istanbul memorable. Moreover, it has a good gymn, indoor swimming pool and a spa.

I'm very grateful for Mme Elif, she was very proffesional in handling a passport-related situation. The concierge, both Mr Alp and Mr Jim were extremly helpful in providing plans and maps regarding the best in istanbul. Everything about that hotel is great. If I were to rate it, it must be a 7 stars hotel, one of the best around the world. The staff speak excellent English and are very friendly and proffessional. Apart from the excellent and friendly service provided by the Hotel staff at every level, we liked the comfort and spaciousness of the rooms and the location of the Hotel, particularly its proximity to Florence Nightingale Hospital, which was the main reason of our travel to Istanbul from Ankara. Walking areas nearby and closeness to newly opened Marmaray Metro station to go to the European side under the Bosporus are additional positive factors about the Hotel.

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

The SPA facility is one of a kind. Spacious and covering a wide range of functions in a very unique way. It is fantastic and I never seen anything like it around the world. The location by Spanca Lake is an added value for a very relaxing view with a very neat landscape arrangement.

The room was excellent, spacious, clean and very comforting. Staff were friendly and most of all the receptionist Sertac who was extremely friendly and helpful and would go the extra mile to help the guests, I believe all receptionists should be like him. the gardens, sports courts, playgrounds, swimming pools, all were great.
