  I have a home in Thailand, and I often pass through Bangkok going to/from North When I stay on the Sukhumvit side of town, I often stay at the President Palace, which is very central and only 1/2 a block off of Sukhumvit Road. However, on a recent stay I had friends staying at the "Phachara Suites Sukhumvit Bangkok" and I joined them. The rooms are new, fresh, great - The rooms were excellent with kitchenette, washing machine and great decor, two televisions one in sitting area and one in bedroom. I arrived for an early check in after a night flight and the reception staff were accomadting and made a special effort to get me a room with a balconey ( as requested) a soon as possible. Duly got the room after 30 minutes . Great location for entertainment and restaurants. Secuirty good. Seven eleven store just over the road for food and drinks.

  - Room was modern - pool was clean - breakfast was good - reception staff excellent (even more excellent if you give good tip on first day) - location is perfect (7/11 1 minute walk away) - free tuk tuk to end of the Main Street - hotel tour desk was extremely helpful , I would highly recommend the "Tiger temple" tour as it is well run and reasona... hva folk sier » ble price. (Don't forget to bargain price down by maybe 200-300 baht. Hotel offers Thai massage - my mother insists anybody who stays asks for "Rose" - The staff were very friendly and always happy to help out, whether it be calling us a tuk tuk, giving us change for our larger bills, or recommending a good restaurant. They had a complimentary tuk tuk service to the Nana bts station which made our travels in Bangkok so much easier. Their complimentary breakfast was also delicious! Our room was was spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend to other travellers. Excellent value for the money.

Langsuan is safe and nice to walk even late at night, with everything you'll ever want within reach (including a great massage place next door - call Langsuan Spa and Nail Care - that opens till midnight for those who have business during the day). Staff are courteous and not intrusive. Room is excellent - makes y - The greatest forte of this hotel is its location. The hotel is situated in a chic area with numerous fine restaurants and it is just 5-7 min walk from/to Chi Lom BTS as well as the Skywalk (overground passageway) connecting all the major shopping malls in the area. Our studio (rather than a room) was cozy and clean with a well-equipped kitchenette and bathroom. Breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. The staff was friendly but nothing special. We enjoyed our stay at Centre Point Chid

Everything is as I want it and this will continue to be my preferred residence in Bangkok - Excellent, spacious well eqipped rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. I feel like I am at home.
