  Good place to chill out and relax watching the river boats go by. It is definitely one of the best places to stay at in Bangkok as it is quiet by the riverside and you can relax and chat and drink beer with the other travellers. The place consists of a wooden building over the water and has a big open hut area that you can sit and relax in.   The bed was the hardest yet on my 3 month trip in S.E.Asia, but we solved it by putting a the mattress from an extra-bed on top. It was very comfortable. Especially when you have a child and don't want to walk far away for dinner.

  Stayed with husband and daughter 13 years for 2 nights. The hotel is good for those who want to see the historical sights. Very nice hotel location. The boat, which serves as a public transport for 15 baht per person can gain access to the city center. And these trips are replaced by a tour of the canals. And there is a pier. From the - I stayed at Erawan House twice during this trip to Thailand. The important aspects for me are - location, quietness and security, then staff and cleanliness. Erawan House was excellent in all aspects. Location: excellent - very quite and within easy walking distance to anywhere around the Khao San Road area. Security: felt as though my belongings and myself were safe all the times. Staff: were lovely; very helpful (eg: made phone calls for us), friendly and fun. I would definitely stay again
