  Extremely friendly staff: We had booked a double room, but ended up having two kids with us. The hotel owner immediately - and unasked - changed our room to a 4 bed room, for the same price. Breakfast only 5.50 chf - bargain of the century and very good - fresh fruit, ham, cheese, fresh bread and croissants - As good as last time.   Was indeed a splendid place to stay! Built in the 1930's, this building would certainly have been the grand dame in her day. The hotel staff were friendly, and we loved the olde worlde charm.   My stay here was enjoyable. I had made the booking a few hours earlier which apparently hadn't come through on the hotel's end, but after a few minutes of confusion it was no problem. Depending on your room, there's a great view out over the lake.
