I spent a lot of time deciding on which Gamla Stan hostel to choose - look no further!

  Location was the main attraction for me towards this hostel. Located right in Old Town, you're right in the center of Stockholm. In addition, this is not a traditional hostel. While you do 'share a room' and the bathrooms with others, there's a huge room divided into smaller bedrooms for individual travelers, with glass walls and curtains and a s... hva folk sier » pecial key code to get into your individual room. I guess I'd call it sort of a hotel/hostel hybrid. It's a neat place to stay, and in my opinion wort - This place felt so much like home from the very first moment I arrive with my sister. It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'. Also when looking out of the window you are greeted with a wonderful view of peaceful waters of the Malaren Lake and beautiful buildings along the shore. Everything could be done on foot. The first metro stop was 3 mins walk if you want to see the outskirts of the city. The famous bars and shops are just a minute away. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous, especially because Stockholm is quite expensive to eat out all the time. We stayed in a private room, and it was really spacious.

  I enjoyed staing in this hotel. My room was nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel was full of people, but WC area was empty everytime I need it. Breakfast was also excelent, and it was possible to seat outside on fresh air in the small and nice patio - The breakfast was amazing and diverse.
