  The hotel is very basic but excellent value for money and reception is staffed 24 hrs a day. The staff were great - friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked well.   Absolutely charming small 4 room guest house. We loved the artsy decoration, just perfect mixture between modern and old. our Room was large and cozy, spotlessly clean and fresh bathroom facilities. David the owner/manager was very helpful and accommodating gave us quite a few tips. Trianon is very well located we went everywhere by foot.   The apartment was half the price of two hotel rooms in the Gothic Quarter for our party of 5. The location was great, but it was a 5-8 minute walk from where we had to pick up our key, so it was a haul because we had a TON of luggage and 2 people in their 70s. We had attic apartment and were pleasantly surprised to find a great outdoor terrace with loungers and table and stools. Great views amongst the rooftops of the barri gothic. Felt safe and secure. Helpful staff around most of the day. Pretty high up with massive drop off terrace so perhaps not great if your kids are naughty and don't listen to your absolute rules re looking over the edge!   The apartment truly is centrally located which is great if you're in Barcelona to see the city. It was easy to find and the check in was simple. Judit explained exactly how to get to there when we called ahead from the airport. Olav was waiting for us just outside the door and the address was well-marked. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had many personal touches to make you feel at home. Hones - Excellent apartment - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. It was well equipped, very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Excellent location too in a quiet back street that's easy walking to La Rambla, the Old City, Port and the beach. It's right by the Universitat metro stop (no more than 5 mins walk away) and the metro itself, so easy to use. Our first time staying at a serviced apartment and we'll definitely be doing it again based on our experience here.
