  The rooms were clean and lockers were a good size, big enough for my 85L backpack. The laundry facilities were great (though having to wait 1 hour for the dryer to finish was a pain if you don't expect it). The shower was a good size with room to keep clothes inside (just bring a bag as there were no hooks). Great location, close to a metro statio... hva folk sier » n and the old quarter is the nicest part of Bilbao. - Great location, short walk to the centre of Bilbao, but there are plenty of great bars right on the door step. 2 minutes walk to the metro station as well.

  We stayed here for one night and found the staff fabulous. We were emailed once we booked to confirm they had the baby travel cot we needed. They also offered us a baby bath. While there they even shared a couple of toys with our daughter which she loved. The room was comfortable and the washrooms were clean. It was an easy walk to the Guggenheim ... hva folk sier » and then to the old section for a delightful evening of pinchos. - I will return to Bilbao and will definitely stay in Pension Zubia, a budget friendly lodging -Excellent excellent excellent accomodation- clean, ideal location ,warm friendly service. Breakfast is not served but there is lovely coffee served directly opposite building .No wonder it has got such good reviews.Thank you
