  I proposed to my fiance in Seville and spent that night at the Alfonso XIII. The conceirge was incredible. The night before the proposal, he helped arrange for flowers and cava in the room, reserved seats at a Flamenco show (and then called the theater when we were running late to hold our seats), and also helped get our bags in the room without my... hva folk sier » fiancee knowing. He was absolutely great. - Pool area was excellant. Rooms were kept very clean! Housekeeping staff were excellant. Meals were slightly expensive but worth it much higher quality than the rest of seville where food standards were very poor! Best hotel I've ever stayed in. It was amazing and I loved waking up in it every morning! Bed was really comfortable. Sheets felt like silk!

  The apartment was literally right around the corner from the Cathedral. Plenty of room to relax. Loved our stay. It was great to have the feeling of coming and going whenever we wanted. We've always stayed at hotels, but this was great.   The staff was very nice and informed on what there is to see and not to be miss. If you go in Seville you have to do the free walking tour. You learn so much in a very short time. We even went out for lunch with our guide who invited the group to join her if interested. Furthermore, the hostel has one of this view that you are going to remember. Oh and you are 1 minute walk away from the main street with all the famous tapas restau - I found the Grand Luxe Hostel a great value of money - our double room with private bathroom was perfectly clean and tidy. The best thing about the hostel - the activities they organize for the guests together with Pancho Tours. Inadequate light as you entered the room, hard to see into the safe deposit b0x. All small practical details, but would recommend they be put right. Five star service and accommodations located among the twisting calles of Sevilla. Taxi to most locations for 5 to 8 Euro, or walk among the beautiful history of Macarena or the old Jewish section.
