  We stayed in the hostal. Location is very good, room was very clean, modern and comfortable; the air-con worked perfectly. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful; most spoke English or were patient with our poor Spanish. Recommend the hostal to anyone who appreciates comfort and value, probably not the Mercedes-Benz/designer clothes crowd. -... hva folk sier » We loved the location of the hotel.   Breakfast and dinner. Great food. Soft sheets on the bed. Wonderful hotel. A jewel. - Had a really good stay. It is not easy to get to in a car in the narrow streets.

  The hotel was located in an ideal position for exploring the old city, with plenty of bars and restaurants within short walking distance. Toledo is a really small city so even Alcazar, which is across town, was more accessible than I'd anticipated from reading other reviews. Great rooms in the new wing and although I only stayed for onenight it was thoroughly enjoyable.
