The location of this hotel is perfect. We could walk to the Alhambra and
everything else easily. There is a little cafe, Manuel's connected
to the restaurant where a delicious little breakfast can be had for a
few euros. Unlike other hotel breakfast buffets which tend toward tired
meat, cheese and fruit platters with tang and machine made coffee, this
restaurant served fresh squeezed oj, great cafe con leche and delicious
croissants. The waiter is the fastest guy ever! Staff was very helpful

This was a very nice clean hotel the staff were very cheerful and helpful. The hotel is situated close to the rail station and the cathedral, where most of the tapa bars and restaurants are located. Excellent location. Service-minded staff. Clean. Good value. Although we had a room towards the street we had no problems with noise, but I guess it depends on when you go to bed. People are out on the street outside until 1, but after that we found it calm.

The owner lives onsite. She was friendly & very helpful - if she was not actually in the reception and we needed anything we just had to knock on her door. She even allowed us to leave our luggage with her, after we had checked out, so that we could go sight-seeing. The hostal was centrally located - near the Cathedral & within metres of restaurants. There was parking nearby.
