Franschhoek Manor was just gorgeous. The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful with two swimming pools and lots of nooks and crannies to sit in peace. Our room was huge with a spacious bathroom and a great four poster bed you had to climb up into. Wolfgang did the best breakfasts we had in South Africa - not only was the food very tasty but it was all beautifully presented. The two dogs were very friendly and Christina and Wolfgang were the perfect hosts.

We stayed in Aquavit for 2 nights and we really enjoyed it. The
guesthouse is beautiful, clean and modern. The breakfast is worth dying
for! Delicious! We found the owners, Linda and Ole very funny and we had
a good laugh about the "house rules" regarding E.G. smoking,
washing and Skype policy. We took it easy but still, it brought us the

Fabulous guest house decorated and finished to the highest standard with two of the lovliest hosts you can imagine, alongside a professional and welcoming staff. Magnificent breakfasts and the wine cellar at yoir diaposal is equally impressive. The pool is great with views put across to plettenberg bay.

This was a delightful place to stay in a lovely tastefully furnished Victorian Lodge. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much to ask during our 4 day stay. I really liked all the environmental information to encourage guests to recycle and use less energy and water. Room is spacious and well-designed, including the double functioning bathroom/toilet door! Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with freshly cooked eggs. Friendly staff.

I could not have picked a better hotel in which to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. Although I made my booking the night before our arrival, the staff at Asara went above and beyond to make our stay special, even having a delicious cake and champagne ready in our room much to my husband's delight (and I didn't even request this!). Breakfast the next morning was perfect and the setting in which we found ourselves helped us relax and enjoy our little escape to its fullest.
