Peaceful ,relaxing good location with excellent resturants nearby.Excellant hosts who do everything to make your stay a wonderful experience .The gardens are beautiful and peaceful to relax in.Not forgetting two lovely dogs Timmy and Ben who greet you in their own special way without been boisterous like some dogs. We will return next year and stay longer as two nights was not long enough in this corner of paridise .Thank you Wolfgang and all of you're team for a wonderful stay in Franschhoke.
alle vurderinger » Franschhoek Manor was just gorgeous. The house was lovely and the garden was beautiful with two swimming pools and lots of nooks and crannies to sit in peace. Our room was huge with a spacious bathroom and a great four poster bed you had to climb up into. Wolfgang did the best breakfasts we had in South Africa - not only was the food very tasty but it was all beautifully presented. The two dogs were very friendly and Christina and Wolfgang were the perfect hosts. What a splendid location, set in magnificent gardens with glorious views of the mountains and just 5-10 minutes from the many restaurants in Franschhoek. It's the perfect base for touring some of RSA's best vineyards. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Wolfgang and his lovely wife are perfect hosts and the al fresco breakfasts were a treat. This is definitely the place to stay when in Franschhoek. This place is stunning and had the wow factor both in terms of the property itself and the service provided. It's an idyllic setting with beautiful gardens and pool area and the rooms are large and stunningly presented with tremendous attention to detail. Beautiful manor, with large and comfortable room. Nicely decorated as well. We loved the pool and beautiful garden. Town is a short driving distance away or you can use the bikes. Walking distance to a winery. Very friendly owners and staff. The welcome was absolutely amazing and this warmth continued throughout our stay. Wolfgang could not do enough to make us feel at home and went to extreme lengths to arrange our TV. The place had a lovely feel beautiful gardens, views of mountains & pool (even though too cold when we were there, we did like the open fire in our room and great bathroom. We stayed in the Master Bedroom, one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. Wolfgang and Christina are excellent hosts and nothing was too much! We had a super time!!.
