  Everything about this guesthouse is wonderful. Joe and Marius, the owners, are incredibly accommodating. They will stop by breakfast every morning, tell you about the weather, and recommend things to do. Breakfast is wonderful and personalized to your wants. The room we stayed in was lovely and had every amenity we needed. Though it was too c - I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. Also staying at Sea Point (quite neighborhood in a shadow of hill and 5 minute walk to the ocean breath) was exactly what I was looking for in this

  The staff made us feel like we were at home as soon as we got there. The breakfast was very good and a great way to start the day.It was very clean and well kept. The internet worked just fine for us. It is a little hike from long street and the water fronts but taxis are cheap or be adventurus and take the mini buses that the local folks take ... hva folk sier » which we did that are great and very very cheap. It was hard to leave. - Very comfortable, well located. It combines a quiet, "off the beaten path" location with a hotel that was within walking distance of all the best of Cape Town. Very helpful front desk with fantastic assistance in all things. A really great hotel and well worth the price.

  We have never seen a hotel like this, everything was really wonderful. Upon our arrival we were even upgraded (for no additional costs!!) to a Luxury Suite. The stuff was really helpful and very pleasant, rooms and bathrooms were very clean and very spacious. The hotel is situated right in the city centre, just 2-minute walk from Long Street. Also, the hotel arranges airport transfers and the guy who was - The willingness of the staff to find solutions to problems. Our reservation had somehow not come through correctly via letsbookhotel.com and they did not have any rooms left. The offered us a room at another hotel, and eventually they arranged that we could stay in the original hotel but in a larger room than booked.

  We stayed in the Penthouse Suite for 3 nights. The stunning view from our windows and balcony were spectacular and encompassed Table Mountain behind and the bay in front. The suite was comfortable and clean, with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge which was very useful for wine/water. The rooms also had air conditioning for those very hot... hva folk sier » days/nights. The cooked breakfasts were very good (made to order), and the fruit salad was especially tasty! The honesty bar was a very good idea, a - The whole experience from the welcome at the gate followed by a cold beer and suggestions for eating and excursions to the checkout arrangements that included the opportunity to shower and change before heading off to the airport was great. All these little touches made for a very relaxing stay at the end of almost a month toruing South Africa. We stayed in the Pool Room with its own outside sitting area. Everything in the room was comortable with a big bed and hot and powerful shower. Breakf
