We really enjoyed our stay at the Vander Urbani resort. The staff were excellent and the food was delicious.
We stayed in a deluxe suite with river view and it was on the pedestrian street in a great location.
Someone met us in the nearby car park to help with our luggage and we got help going back also.
Ljubljana is such a beautiful little town, we are glad we made a stop there.
We had lunch at Valvasor which I highly recommend.

The staff are extremely helpful and sympathetic to our requirements and concerns.
They go way out of their way to make the stay pleasant and arranging things outside the hotel easy.

Great location, very close to the center of the old city.
This time I had a normal double room, which is already quite spacious and as comfortable as the junior suite I had before (which is even bigger and surprises with a huge, round bed).
Minibar is free of charge in all rooms:-).
Great and polite staff, natural instead of artificial, always having good ideas, and real experts of German football:-).

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited: set in a 16th century old palace, it has all the comforts of our modern world too. Without asking for it, I was upgraded, at no additional charge, to an extravagantly large suite, as lovely decorated as the common areas of the hotel. On arrival I noticed the hotel was clean and fresh and had a lovely aromatic smell. Staff welcomed me, then helped us to get luggage from our car which was parked just down the street and showed us where their car park was.
