  Really enjoyed this hotel,from a welcoming drink,to bubbly before dinner,to a fab breakfast. Booked here because we intended to go to Lipica and the caves. For a variety of reasons,we only walked the educational trail at the caves. It did not matter, it was such a good stop. AND reasonable. - Perfect location for our half way stop to Italy from Croatia. The food and the service in the restaurant is excellent! One of our best dinners during entire trip! We also loved visiting the Lipizzan Horses. The new pool is wonderful! Everything about this hotel is Very Good. The internet actually works.

  I travel a lot and can say with confidence that this is one of the nicest places I have stayed in. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly, the food absolutely superb (the menu changes daily!), the rooms always neatly cleaned, and they go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after.
