  Hotel check-in staff were very helpful, spoke good English and were friendly. The hotel was re-opened earlier this summer after major renovations. Our room was very nice: good size, good comfortable bed, good linen, well-appointed; good bathroom and amenities. Worth paying the extra for views over the lake – we could see castle and had views ... hva folk sier » to the hills and nearby valleys. We would love to have sat on the deck had the weather been better. Breakfasts, included, were great: tremendous vari - Location was good, just a 2 min walk to the lake. No views of it from the room (top floor, room 308) but nice scenery though. The hotel and its rooms have been recently renovated (past 1-2 years). They were nice and had a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a a little small but not an issue at all. Free parking in the hotel at the back (under cover) or front. There were plenty of spaces available when we went. Wifi was excellent (11Mbs download) and the upload speed was 14M

  Fantastic trip!! I Loved my stay at pension union, highlighted by brothers who run it. The room was spotless and large and the breakfast was fantastic! Me & my girlfriend stayed here for two days as we explored bled and went on a tour of the emelald river and had a great time. Perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the lake. HIghly Recommend... hva folk sier » ed. - Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. A family run hotel with two brothers being front-of-house, and their father playing the piano in the restaurant when we were there. Room was very spacious and clean. Parking at the hotel was nearby and free. Restaurant served good food. An ideal stop-over place for us - we will be returning in future.
