Hostel Oh So Indie is housed in the historic building, constructed in the beginning of the 20th century, and boasts its vintage ceilings. It features both dormitory and private rooms with private or shared facilities. The dormitory rooms feature unique, custom-made bunk beds.
All rooms are equipped with lockers. Also there is a piano lounge with vintage one of the world's smallest piano, library and luggage storage. The reception is open 24/7.

This was the first hostel I stayed in Moscow, absolutely clean and comfy. Perfect location and it is quite safe to walk around the area because there are a few embassies over here, so regularly you may find some police patrolling around.
The plus for this hostel is that they provide pad locks and lockers for guest to keep their belongings if staying in the dorm.

Everything about Oh So Indie House Hostel is quite enjoyable: friendly staff who make you feel at home; nice rooms, a variety of which can meet the requirements of both married couples and single backpackers; excellent location together with affordable rates, so that you want to come here again.
This hotel is really perfect for spending a good time.It gives great attention to ensuring the privacy of visitors , At the same time gives the possibility to act as if you were at home.

Best hostel I've ever been. Tejas (the owner) had the brilliant idea to rent a very luxury apartment in Moscow and turned it into a very elegant hostal, with amazing accommodations and the most friendly environment I've experienced. Kudos to this place. Overall: A+.

The hot water will be switched off after 12 midnight, so there's a day we have to take cold shower.
There are some problems with the plugs too as it is not so compatible with our own international adapter, but you can request for scotch tape from the staff to solve this problem.
There's nothing to mention here.
Well, maybe the bathrooms are very small, but again, it's not simple to fit 3 showers and 2 toilets in what was the bathroom in the apartment, so it's not really a missed.
Make sure that the hotel staff teaches you how to get in and get out of the hotel, at what hours, from which way.
It's complicated and if you dont know how to do it, it's very frustrating.

The 16 bed dorm wasn't clean enough. It actually smelled like BO pretty bad but I guess that is on the guests rather than the hostel management.
One toilet & bathroom for all the hostel isn't enough. I didn't have to wait to use it but it was very small and the floor was always wet.
A vending machine inside the hostel would be a good idea.
Towels were too small. To me they seemed like hand towels rather than bath towels.
There are two entrance for hostel.The main entrance in nice but you can use main entrance only after 11.pm and You can not enter the hostel after 1 am.If you want to go the night club you should come after 6pm.The second entrance that you use every time, is very bad.The rooms are very hot and bathroom floor always wet and not very clean.Toilets are too small.
