  Fantastic hostel! The location is excellent, right in the heart of Krakow's Old Town and just 10-15 mins walk from the station. The hostel itself was very clean, the staff were friendly, the beds were really comfortable with fresh sheets provided. There was plenty of locker space with complete wifi coverage and breakfast thrown in.   Staff was very friendly. The cafe downstairs was a nice place to sit and have a drink. Rooms were clean and comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, they do not clean and change linen or towels during your stay (we stayed 4 nights), but this was O.K. with us. The cafe/reception was one of my favourite things in Krakow with great food, drink and prices and the atmosphere was second to none.   Red Kurka has a perfect location, within 10 minutes walk of all the major city centre tourist sights and recommended restaurants, as well as the main train station for getting to/from the airport via the express train.   Walking distance of the castle and old town and Jewish Quarter. Great Price. The reason for the price is the location (5th floor). The people in the building and neighborhood are friendly. There is plenty of room in the apartment. All tv is in Polish. Great chance to learn Polish if you want. All the free cigarette smoke you want in the stair case... hva folk sier » up the 5 floors of walking too! You do not have to buy your cigarettes just breath the air! Parking is only $11/day on the street! You must pay from - Robert the owner was very efficient in answering any queries that we had. He ensured our stay was comfortable. Location was perfect, approx 15 minute walk from the old town and 2 minutes from the jewish quarter. Apartments wer clean and well equipped. I would highly recommend staying here.
