Good, clean, basic room with hot water. Staff was friendly and the breakfast included was good. No complaints. I would have liked a refrigerator in the room, but not absolutely necessary. Good location and my room was in the back and 3rd floor - so no noise as long as you ran the ceiling fan and air conditioner.

The location and the Design of the hotel couldn't be better. The
front desk and consierge service was excellent! I'd like to give an
special mention to Keshi (the concierge guy) who gave us really good

Excellent staff. Despite being so close to night clubs such as Cocobongo and Palazzo the noise is not a problem when you are in the rooms at the back of the hotel. Me and my wife had no problems with that. It's right next to the 5th avenue, the most famous street for shopping and hanging out.

The location is fantastic. Best on the Playa del Carmen. Wake up and go to sleep with the sound of the surf: in your own hammock on your own little patio, if you choose. The bungalows are a very good idea but are in need of renovation. The good news is, the whole place is being renovated and ready by the end of 2014. Go then. Loved the location! Couldn't get any better. On the beach with a 'beach club' (though beach club food wasn't great: staff were awesome, drinks were good, swings at the bar and good music). The bungalows are in a splendid garden, like a jungle. They have terraces where you can stay in the hamac or armchair and enjoy the garden and shadow while reading a book. The beach is very close and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is rich with plenty of types of food and juices from which you can choose. I liked almost everything.

We stayed in the Duplex Garden room which was just perfect for us. The 2 rooms and bath were clean and neat. Ladies... there is a hairdryer, also a safe in the room, small refrigerator and bottles of water supplied each day.There was a patio downstairs and a small balcony upstairs. We enjoyed our stay at Fusion very much. Everything was absolutely excellent. The staff were all friendly and very receptive. The food and drinks were also excellent. We stayed in the Garden Duplex room, it was very clean and comfortable. There was a balcony off the upstairs bedroom and a patio on the lower level. The gardens were beautiful. We are scheduled to come back again January 2014 and look forward to our stay at Fusion.

The hostel is well located, near the 5th ave and close from the beach.
