  Its uniqueness! Hostel Mundo Maya is a working progress and in a few months/years time it will be the hostel to be at. Staff extremely helpful and lovely, even though there is a language barrier.... The location is good, downtown Cancun close to shops, night markets, restaurants, etc; It is good if you do not want to be in the Zona Hotelera area. ... hva folk sier » - Carlos (owner) and Monica (staff) are very helpful and friendly. Location is only about 7 blocks from the ADO bus station and close to many other things. Charlie (son) plays a mean game of ping pong.

  The location was brilliant, we needed to be near the bus station and we were about 2 mins away! Always a taxi nearby and near some very good places to eat! Bar on the roof is very mellow and has a good mood/vibe. Breakfast was also fine. Cereal toast etc.... What you would expect in a hostel! - The staff were very friendly and willing to please. ... hva folk sier » Arriving late at night the area looked rough. Good as a one night starting point if arriving in Cancun by bus as it is very close to the central bus station. Clean room and bathroom.
