The non-smoking Hiroshima Hana Hostel is a 5-minute walk from JR Hiroshima Train Station and a 15-minute tram ride from the Atomic Bomb Dome. It offers free WiFi throughout the property, rental bicycles and a free-use kitchen. Both dormitory rooms with bunk beds and private Japanese-style rooms with futon bedding are on offer, all with air conditioning and heating. The Japanese rooms have a traditional tatami (woven-straw) floor, an LCD TV and a private toilet. Towels can be rented. Guests without their own laptop can use one of the hostel’s free internet PCs. Guests can relax in the living room and use a coin launderette is available on site. The shared-use kitchen includes kitchenware, drinks vending machine and seasonings. A convenience store and a supermarket are both within a 5-minute walk. No meals are served. Good location, just a few mins walk from the JR main station; very nice and helpful staff, cosy common room with books, games etc., plenty of information available about what to do in Hiroshima and around, transport options etc. Hostel with enourmously friendly stuff that speaks verry good english. It's very close to the train station and therefore a good place to discover Hiroshima and the surroundings like Miyajima.

Superb hostel, welly equipped, friendly staff, good location. In short one of the best I've stayed at. (I stayed in 4 bed mix dorm). Close to the main railway station. Very helpful English speaking staff able to provide useful and detailed information on trips. Located only 5 mins walk to the JR train, very clean room, friendly staff, my friend and I had a perfect stay at Hana Hostel. Great atmosphere, welcoming staff (was fed for free), superb location, perfect bed and more than enough space for my luggage. Trains passing close to the hostel could be noisy, but they don't run most of the night. Everything was OK. Nothing to put here, was too awesome to critic. Narrow hallways, lack of toilets and showers. - None. no wifi in the rooms. A little bit noisy because of tram. Close to the trainstation so chotto noisy, wifi Connection slowly sometimes. A bit noisy from traffic and trains, but it will not wake you up... 1) No towel provided. 2) Not much choices of good food within 5min walk. 3) The wet market nearby are closed. 4) My room are in front of graveyard. Nothing.
