  The staff were very friendly and satisfied all our wishes. The dinner and breakfast were incredible value for the price. The baths are nice and you might be lucky enough to spot Mt Fuji through the clouded windows. We stayed at a Japanese style room, a bit basic but quite ok for the price. You can rent bicycles which I would certainly encourage you to do if you stay longer, as going around the lake with the - Great getaway location from the southern part which is crowded and touristy. The owner provides free shuttle to and from kawaguchi-ko station so distant location is not an issue at all. The owner is friendly and is keen to help with any questions should they arise. He's very adept in speaking english too and that helps alot. Each guest (or party of guests) get assigned 45 minutes of private hot bath at no additional cost.   Pension Kamifusen is a place well-worth the stay for the night at Kawaguchiko. We received a lot of help and understanding from the owners, despite our inability to communicate effectively. The owners were genuinely helpful and friendly. They offered to fetch us to the bus station when we missed the timing for the bus at the bus-stop nearer to Ka... hva folk sier » mifusen. In addition, the place had excellent decorations which make you feel warmth and cosy. Excellent food were also served, with taste of the foo - Really warm hospitality and the owner made arrangements for the participants in the 2013 Fujisan Marathon, something I really appreciate alot! We had a spectacular view from our room, and the Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park we went to visit was a five minute walk away, also seen from our window.   Staff and people staying there were really friendly. the hostel will pick you up at kawaguchiko station, just go to tourist information and they will dial the hostel for you and someone will come there to pick u up or you can book a time with them prior to arriving. There were guide books and a TV in the room. The rooms were clean, linen is provided (u - I would recommend K’s house, due to its friendly and helpful staffs. Its location is good, but not the best to look at the mountains. It’s close to the lake and the stores. The good local Japanese restaurant ’小作’ which we had dinner is far from it. Once you get K’s house, they will give you a leaf which shows all the amenities nearby. It’s really helpful. The staff also drive the bus to take us to the train station to catch the train for free, and help us find 7-11 to withdraw cash. Their staf
