  Maria Elisabetta and Rodolfo are a wonderful young couple who take great care of their guests. The location of the Residenza is perfect (next to San Marco but away from the crowd, and not far away from the Castello area where the Biennale takes place and where there are plenty of great authentic restaurants). We stayed in the Artist room which was neat, quiet and very clean, with a lovely view over the canal. The - In one word - Excellent. Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.) Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor. All together this will make your stay in this hotel perfect.

Maria Teresa (one of two sisters who operate the B&B) was so warm and welcoming. The décor was "so Venice", warm and charming. The entire fac - This is a wonderful B&B on the main walk from the train station. The sister's who own the property are very friendly and helpful. Although you are on a main street the windows are totally sound proof so unless you open them the room is really silent. It is easy to find if you take the Vaporetta to S. Marcuola (the Casino stop) You just walk through to the main street then left and watch for the numbers. There is a small brass plate with the name. Depending on your room the wireless might be

  This is an good hotel for a family. The hotel staff was excellent! They really went out of their way to accommodate us. We also enjoyed having a family room as these are hard to come by. Breakfast was great..the decor of hotel really created an atmosphere of old Venice..the location was close enough to everything yet not so close you felt crowed by center.
