  Staff were very friendly and helpful. Superior rooms were large with nice bathrooms. We walked to lots of major attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colloseum and Roman Forums were all 15 - 20 minutes easy walk away. My wife and daughters found plenty of shopping nearby, especially on and around Via Nazionale which is 40m f - Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking. Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars.

  I stayed at Hotel Desiderio for nine nights and I loved it. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The bed is perfect and the sheets are very clean. The location is perfect because the train station is right there not even two minutes walk.   The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was very good - close enough to walk to the Spanish Steps and about 15 minutes to the Barberini subway station. The meal was the best - The Location was excellent for getting to the heart of Rome and a short walk to the rail station or bus system, or taxis. There were things to see and do as well as affordable eating places nearby. The breakfast was wonderful compared to what other hotels offered for breakfast. But the hotel staff was simply outstanding. I would definitely look forward to staying there the next time I visit Rome.

Piazza Navona was round the corner and Pantheon 5 minutes more. Campo Di Fiore was across the street and great for food in the evening.   Roberta, great location. One block from the Vatican. Very clean. Great neighborhood. Safe, great little restaurants. Nice little coffee shop right a cross the street. Again Roberta the host. - Roberta and her staff were wonderful. It was a great experience. I would go back there again an recommend it to others!
