  Staff were very friendly and helpful. Superior rooms were large with nice bathrooms. We walked to lots of major attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colloseum and Roman Forums were all 15 - 20 minutes easy walk away. Metro also two blocks away for a 7 minute trip to the Vatican Metro station. Hotel breakfast was continental but sufficient a... wat mensen zeggen » nd nice and easy before starting the day. My wife and daughters found plenty of shopping nearby, especially on and around Via Nazionale which is 40m f - Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking. Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars.

  I stayed at Hotel Desiderio for nine nights and I loved it. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The bed is perfect and the sheets are very clean. The location is perfect because the train station is right there not even two minutes walk. The location is great--right next to Villa Borghese, a huge park where you can run, walk, ride bicycles (for rent), and cool off in the summer (there are museums and a zoo as well).   I was traveling solo and wanted a well situated accomodation conveniently located and safe. Four Rivers certainly met my needs. Dominico was very gracious, stayed late to welcome me since my flight arrived late evening and made sure I was settled in and had his mobile number in case I needed anything. While my room overlooked the main street, i... wat mensen zeggen » t was very quite with the double glazed windows and at times I enjoyed opening the windows to hear the day and night bustling of Roman life. The acco - I would really recommend Four Rivers as it was in a fantastic location and the staff were brilliant. It was within easy walking distance to all the major sites and luckily for me there was a close by taxi rank, which was helpful, as I was unfortunately on crutches during my stay. Piazza Navona was round the corner and Pantheon 5 minutes more. Campo Di Fiore was across the street and great for food in the evening. Dominico and Andrea couldn't have been more helpful at the desk - even allowing us

  The Owner is an interesting lady who keeps the place in a perfect way. Room are spacious with a large bathroom. The guest house is on the 3th floor of a old nice building. It is really nice and you will have the feeling to be in house more than a Hotel. It is safe and well located.   Roberta, great location. One block from the Vatican. Very clean. Great neighborhood. Safe, great little restaurants. Nice little coffee shop right a cross the street. Again Roberta the host. - Roberta and her staff were wonderful. It was a great experience. I would go back there again an recommend it to others!
